Weekend in the Adirondacks

Join Briar Bush and Wyncote Audubon for a two-night, three-day trip to the Adirondacks to go birding.  Guided by Dennis Miranda, we’ll embark on a proven itinerary of finding over 100 species of breeding birds by sight and sound from the wildest corners of the Adirondack Park. From the vast floodplain boreal forest of the St. Regis River Plains to the pinnacle of Whiteface Mountain. This adrenalin-filled (bird filled) trip will likely find seldom seen birds such as Olive-Sided Flycatcher, Bicknell’s Thrush, Spruce Grouse, and Three-toed Woodpecker. The trip will include some nighttime birding and a journey to the summit of Whiteface Mountain.

Departing Friday, June 21 from Briar Bush at 9am;

Returning Sunday, June 23 at Briar Bush by 9pm

$370 double occupancy;
$545 single occupancy
