This sprawling landscape of hillsides, overgrown pasturelands, cornfields, man-made marshes, pine plantations and forest groves will attract a wide variety of migratory songbirds, raptors and perhaps late wading birds of field, forest, and wetlands. State Game Lands 234 are relatively under-birded and waiting to be discovered. Neighboring Kurylo Preserve, a brand new municipal park in Limerick Township, hosts similar habitat with an ADA accessible trail.

Plan on arriving a few minutes before the scheduled time of the field trip. The time stated is the STARTING time, not the arrival time. This will give you time to get yourself ready, say hello, visit a restroom and be ready to go. For all day trips, please come prepared with lunch and have a full tank of gas.
