Join volunteers from the Wyncote Audubon Society and the Upper Moreland Environmental Advisory Council for this late autumn bird walk. We expect to find some of our year-round resident birds and see some of the winter residents that have returned. We will also search for late and lingering migrants.
All are Invited: The walk is open to anyone interested in learning more about the birds that frequent this Upper Moreland Park that is part of an Audubon Important Bird Area. This walk is for beginning birders and experienced birders as well. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing. Bring binoculars if you have them!
Directions: Please park at the Masons Mill Park lot at 3500 Masons Mill Road, Huntingdon Valley at the lot nearest to the Gazebo. We will meet at the Gazebo and proceed to sections of the hiking trails located along the Pennypack Creek.
