Alaska’s St. Paul Island or “I Can See Russia From Here”

Loading Events

While you can’t really see Russia from the Pribilofs, St. Paul Island is pretty close. Located in the Bering Sea, this island is a destination for birders who want to see birds that are blown over from Russia and other parts of Europe and Asia. We will learn about the bird species that have been found on the island recently, facts about the island and how to plan a successful trip.

Our speaker is Linda Widdop. Linda birds both locally in the Delaware Valley and also travels globally. She recently visited St. Paul Island for the first time with a group of friends. Linda will share stories and photos from the trip.
