Abington Bird Walk, Edge Hill Woods

Abington Bird Walk, Edge Hill Woods

All are Invited: Audubon Bird Town Bird Walks are open to anyone interested in learning more about the birds that frequent the parks in which the walks are scheduled. These walks are for beginning birders and experienced birders as well. We hope to see some of the fall migrants that are passing through our area on their southward journey. All are welcome. Wear comfortable footwear and clothing. Bring binoculars if you have them! Audubon Bird Town Bird Walks are led by volunteers from the Wyncote Audubon Society.

This is a special Audubon Bird Town Bird Walk conducted from Collins Nursery as part of the September 17th Collins Nursery Open House. Leigh Altadonna, President of the Wyncote Audubon Society, and Joe Wunderle, an ornithologist with the United States Forest Service, will lead the walk. Joe and Leigh grew up in Glenside and did much of their childhood birding in these woods. Join them to see some birds and to hear them reminisce about their boyhood birding adventures.
Directions: Please park on Roslyn Avenue near Collins Nursery 773 Roslyn Ave, Glenside, and PA 19038. For more Information:
