Join us for this late winter bird walk. We can expect to see many of our winter resident before they depart for the breeding grounds. Of course we will see our year-round resident birds. We will expect to see some of the earliest arriving spring migrants. We will make a pointed effort to see if Rusty Blackbirds are foraging in the Bethayres Swamp. We will walk south along the Pennypack Trail through Bethayres Swamp and into the north end of Lorimer Park. All Abington Audubon Bird Town Bird Walks are scheduled for 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Lorimer Park. This walk will start at the parking lot access to the Pennypack Trail located at Terwood and Welsh Roads.
